Haeundae MPA International Pilates Instructor Course to Open on December 13, Led by Director Yuran Kang
MPA Pilates (Medi Pilates Alliance, MPA Pilates), one of Korea¡¯s leading professional Pilates associations, will launch its International Pilates Instructor Course on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Body Pilates Lifelong Education Center, Yeongpung Regency branch in Haeundae-gu, Busan. The entire program will be taught directly by Director Yuran Kang, who has been leading Pilates education in Haeundae through two specialized centers: Body Therapy Yoga & Pilates (1st studio) and Body Pilates Lifelong Education Center, Yeongpung Regency (2nd studio).
The Haeundae MPA International Pilates Instructor Course is built on the philosophy that ¡°the era of Pilates certifications ending as mere completion has passed.¡± Rather than producing instructors who simply memorize choreography, the program aims to cultivate professionals who truly **understand the body**. The curriculum focuses on musculoskeletal anatomy, muscle function, and movement analysis so that future instructors can read clients¡¯ posture and movement patterns and design individualized correction strategies.
The course consists of 100 hours of training, with a structured balance of 50 hours of theory and 50 hours of practice, offered once a week in 5-hour sessions. Theory and practice are integrated based on real studio situations, helping participants immediately connect what they learn in the classroom to what they will apply on the mat and equipment.
A key strength of this program is its strong grounding in real cases accumulated at the two Haeundae studios. Drawing on her extensive experience with clients dealing with pain, functional decline, pre- and postnatal recovery, and senior care, Director Kang incorporates a wide range of practical scenarios into the training. This allows her to offer highly personalized feedback and hands-on guidance tailored to each trainee¡¯s body type, learning style, and professional goals.
Director Yuran Kang is the owner of Body Therapy Yoga & Pilates and Body Pilates Lifelong Education Center, as well as the MPA Pilates Haeundae Education Center Director and Examiner. She is also an IAIT 100 Integrative Therapist, Head Researcher of the Musculoskeletal–Nervous System Healing Group, a pre- and postnatal Pilates specialist, a reporter for Lifestyle Healing News, and a columnist for the monthly Yoga & Pilates Insight. She holds multiple professional certifications, including International Mat Pilates Instructor (Reg. No. 2016-003546), International Equipment Pilates Instructor (Reg. No. 2016-003545), and Medi-Tool Pilates Instructor (Reg. No. 2016-003436). Her classes are widely recognized as therapy-based education that connects posture correction not only to pain relief and functional recovery, but also to emotional stability.
Graduates of this course do not simply receive a completion certificate; they are awarded the title of ¡°Certified MPA Pilates Instructor.¡± This grants them access to MPA¡¯s nationwide network of 157 education centers, invitations to regular conferences and workshops, up to six months of practical sequence video support, and free access—via the YO&P Membership—to more than 70 specialized advanced programs, including Deep Release Technique, Neuro Pilates, Vital Lymph Pilates, Senior Pilates, and Golf Pilates.
Backed by a research-driven curriculum grounded in anatomy, neuroscience, and movement therapy, as well as a strong culture of academic papers and professional publications, MPA Pilates is regarded as one of Korea¡¯s leading institutions for training evidence-based Pilates professionals. The upcoming Haeundae MPA International Pilates Instructor Course is expected to become a powerful starting point for aspiring instructors who wish to grow into ¡°healing-capable teachers¡± with real-world competitiveness and clinical insight.
